The world bank has engaged directly with indigenous people grant them homes and protect their rights. There reason for funding the indigenous people is to increase their communities and organizations capacity for self development and other things mentioned in their page. Also, they support the contact to map their lands and manage their natural resources.What the world bank doing is a nice thing to preserve the indigenous people rights and support them.

the project of ICMM 2002 commissioned a review of the issues surrounding mining and indigenous peoples and it was published in 2005. Their work on idigenous peoples issues seeks to build effective and constructive relationships which are based on respect, meaningful engagement and mutual benefits. They want to contact the people to benefit the both sides.
